Autumn Blaylock

   Autumn Blaylock is a multi-disciplinary artist and speaker for Ozarkan folklore and emotional color from Fayetteville, AR (she/her, 2002). Her work investigates and invests in the relationship between the histories of her own Scottish heritage and the legends and mythologies of the Ozarks that she grew up in. She is passionate about preservation of good stories, agricultural traditions, the land and rural families. She has shown work throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, Washington [state] and Washington, DC. In 2020, Blaylock won the Congressional Art Competition for the 3rd district of Arkansas; Her work "Pandemic Prom" was displayed on Capitol hill the following year. She hopes to continue to share and listen to good stories through her work in the visual arts, spoken poetry and the art of others. She is currently pursuing her BFA in Drawing and BA in Art History at the University of Arkansas.
